Groundworks | Foundations

Rain held off all day and a lot progress made putting in the infill and completing the foundation wall.
Concreted in the sewer pipes, electricity cable sheath and water pipe sheath into the foundation walls
Tony completed laying the slab outer wall, all flat and level with my assistance (carrying the blocks, mixing mortar, wheel-barrowing across to him – the life of a labourer!!!!!)
I decided to keep to my original plan and return to the UK on Tuesday as the site is so waterlogged. It was like trying to work with concrete wellies today. It wears you out.
